Training in basics and exposure to new stage tools is vital for those just beginning to explore theatre. Foundation Skills in Acting workshops aim at giving a combination of essential drama skills to new actors and theatre-makers. This month, we have choreographer and actor Amey Mehta bringing a movement-based approach to stage work.

Amey is a theatre actor, dancer and choreographer. He has been a part of the Terence Lewis Dance Company for five years. Amey has worked as an actor in theatre and been an active choreographer as well. He was nominated in the Best Choreographer category at the prestigious Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards for his work on Quasar Padamsee’s play, So Many Socks.
