Foundation Skills in Acting with Himanshu Kohli

The Drama School, Mumbai presents its first Foundation Skills in Acting course for 2015, with Himanshu Kohli. Himanshu has trained at the National School of Drama with a specialisation in Acting.

This is a six day intensive workshop to understand the basics of performance using body, voice, and movement, aimed at amateur and aspiring actors.

We at The Drama School, Mumbai would like to invite you to an evening of theatre!

This year’s students of the One Year Certificate Course in Acting and Theatre-Making will be presenting various elements of work that they have been doing as part of their course.Drawing from modules that covered aspects such as the economy of movement in space, improv and devising, rhythm, working with voice and text, and more, this showcase will be a collage of performance outcomes from their class study.

Come, watch raw, just-created performances by the 2014-2015 batch of students at the DSM and join us for a chat about theatre over chai and snacks.

About Hodi:

Hodi is the first performance by the newly formed company Natakbaaz. It is the story of a journey. A journey which started in a small village with dreams mounted on a paper boat, and sailed through the Western Ghats to the city called “Mumbai”. It is a journey from innocence to adolescence. One where questions were asked, some answered, and some not.
