Weekend Acting Programme

By Himanshu Kohli, trained at National School of Drama
for non-actors and working professionals

Time: 8am to 2pm
Venue: Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, 5th floor, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Campus, Munshi Nagar, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Fees: Rs. 8000/-

December 15th to 19th
Foundation Skills in Acting

By Bhushan Borgaonkar, trained at National School of Drama
for amateur and budding actors to understand the basics of movement, voice, and performance

Time: 5.30pm to 10.30pm
Venue: Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh, 5th floor, Kele Wadi, Dr. Bhalerao Marg, Girgaon, Charni Road East, Mumbai.
Fees: Rs. 6000/-

Why Not Theatre’s Iceland @The Drama School, Mumbai

The Drama School, Mumbai is happy to invite you for a special performance of Governor General Award Winning Canadian play Iceland under our @The Drama School, Mumbai series.

About Iceland:
Set against the backdrop of the banking crisis, a confrontation between a real estate agent and a tenant takes an unexpected turn. Told through the eyes of three characters, the play examines the impact of Capitalism and our recent financial crises on vastly different people. The provocative writing, nuanced direction and stellar performances earned it the prestigious Governor General’s Award for Drama, and have audiences and critics agreeing that Iceland is “masterful storytelling”
